FAQ and glossary

The questions people ask first, then every product noun with its meaning.

#Questions

Do I need a graphics card? The studio needs working WebGL. Local Film needs Chrome and FFmpeg through the local renderer; Cycles also needs Blender. Hosted still rendering is available to connected agents where configured. See Rendering.

Does it work on a phone? The library, the share page and your creator page do. The studio opens on a phone with a reduced bar, and it is best on a laptop.

Can I use my own models? Yes: GLB, SVG, pictures and LEGO models import as objects, and a portable Puni file carries a whole scene. See Import.

Who can see my scenes? Only you, until you make a link. A link is unlisted. Your creator page is off until you turn it on.

Can an agent ruin my scene? An agent's edit lands as one saved revision with a checkpoint of the previous one, named by the agent's label. Restore the checkpoint to take it back, and a save you make while it works refuses its edit until it reads your revision.

Is Puni free? The alpha editor is free to use. Generation using your own keys is billed by OpenAI or fal and spends no Puni credits. Where Puni's keys are available, generation spends credits. See Credits for costs and checkout availability.
