Scenes and the library
Where your scenes live, what a tile shows, how versions and checkpoints are kept, and how to find, archive and search scenes.
The library is every scene you own, newest first. Each tile carries the scene's cover, its name, and when it was last edited.
Open in Puni to see your library.
#The tabs
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every live scene |
| Recent | Scenes edited in the last seven days |
| Archived | Scenes you put away; links to them stop working until restored |
Search (or /) opens a dialog that finds scenes by name or description.
#A tile's menu
Right-click a tile.
| Item | What happens |
|---|---|
| Open, Open in new tab | Opens the studio |
| Rename | Renames in place |
| Duplicate | A new scene with the same contents |
| Copy → Link, Scene ID, Puni JSON | The scene's address, its ID, or the whole document on your clipboard |
| Share | Opens the share dialog in the studio |
| Archive, Restore | Puts the scene away, or brings it back |
#Versions
Every save is a revision. Version history in the scene menu lists the checkpoints you saved and those kept before an agent’s edits. Restoring a checkpoint is itself a new revision; nothing is lost.
#Covers
A cover is the picture on the tile and on a share link's card. The studio captures it from the stage shortly after a save, once the stage is at rest, so it always shows the saved scene. A scene saved from a browser that cannot draw 3D has its cover drawn by Puni's server instead; where the server cannot, the last good cover stays.
Read Objects and modules next for what is inside a scene.
